I hold a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri and completed an additional year of advanced education with the PhD Program in Architecture, Culture, and Behavior at Georgia Tech.
I began my career working as a research scientist in the fields of assistive technology, home modifications, and wheelchair seating and mobility at the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access at Georgia Tech University. I have been providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents in outpatient and school settings since 2005: treating fine motor and visual motor delays as well as sensory system disorders. I also specialize in the treatment of feeding aversions, brain injury & concussion care, handwriting skills development, incoordination, and attention difficulties.
I currently practice OT in the South Carolina. I developed the EZ script handwriting paper and collaborated with ARK Therapeutic to create the Butter Grip pencil grip.
